Terms & Conditions

Large and luxurious mega yachts, fast and modern motor yachts, traditional motor sailers of unique elegance, or stylish sailing yachts of supreme design?

Whichever type of yacht your heart desires, we are here to make sure that you find the one that best suits your needs.

Once you have decided on the yacht and its availability during the desired period has been confirmed, we will prepare the formal contract to secure your booking.

Agreement & Payment Terms
You will receive either a HYBA* or MYBA* Charter Agreement itemizing the yacht, the charter dates, location, cruising area, fee and any applicable taxes.

The general terms and conditions for yachts charter describe MYBA* & HYBA*.

If your embarkation or disembarkation points are not the yacht’s home port, a delivery and/or redelivery fee may be payable.

Upon signing this Agreement the first payment, who will be due.

Upon receipt of this your booking will be confirmed and the Agreement sent to the yacht’s owner for signature, after which a signed copy is returned to you.

The balance, plus the Advance Provisioning Allowance, if applicable, plus any taxes, delivery/redelivery fees and any other agreed charges, will be due one month before embarkation.

Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA)
The terms for most yachts are “plus expenses”.

This means that the charter fee covers the charter of the yacht, the yacht’s insurance and the crew’s wages and provisioning.

Beyond this all expenses are charged in addition, such as for fuel (main engines, outboard engines, jet skis, etc), food for guests, water, harbour dues, bar & drinks and telecommunications.

An APA, generally 20-30% of the charter fee, is payable well before the charter’s commencement, usually with the balance payment.

The APA will be given to the Captain in order to supply the yacht with the requested provisions, prior to your arrival.

During your cruise the Captain will account for all expenses and, at the end of the charter, will supply a detailed statement of expenditure, with invoices or receipts.

Any unused funds are immediately refunded, whilst any excess will be charged for.

Our aim is to ensure you enjoy a pleasant and trouble-free charter with your wishes granted as fully as possible. To this end we shall ask you to complete a Preference Form detailing your (and your fellow guests) likes and dislikes.

This will cover everything from your preferred type of food and drink, specific items you may wish to have aboard, any special dietary requirements for your party, anniversaries or planned celebrations to the type of pastimes you most enjoy.

Armed with this information, your personal broker and the captain of your yacht will prepare the charter, overseeing every detail to ensure everything is in place to make it the holiday of a lifetime.

Exclusive Services Travel Agency will always try to welcome you onboard to meet you on the first day and your last day of your cruise.

If this is not possible due to your location, we will call you during the cruise to ensure all is to your satisfaction.

We will also remain in discreet contact the yacht during your stay on board, so if you have any concerns, please do not to hesitate to contact us, either directly or via the Captain.

Leisure Activities
Most of the yachts carry a variety of water sports equipment. It is our desire to make sure that you can enjoy all the provided equipment with maximum safety for you and those around you.

More specifically, Jet-skis (the kneeling or standing machines) and wave-runners (the sit-down variety) can be found on many yachts.

Please be aware that under Greek law only people with speed boat license are allowed to use them.

With regard to scuba diving equipment, please note that most of the yachts that carry scuba equipment impose restrictions on its use.

Generally you are required to have at least a PADI Certificate or equivalent and will be asked to sign individual waivers, usually the PADI waiver.

To avoid disappointment, please check with us first so we can tell you what is available on each yacht. Bear in mind that there are restrictions on diving in Greece & Turkey which must be strictly adhered to.

Please also ensure you are covered for diving under your own personal insurance as you will generally not be covered under the yacht's insurance policy.

Smoking inside the yacht is prohibited in all yachts for safety reasons. However, smoking is usually permitted on the open deck areas although a few yachts do not permit any smoking aboard at all. Please check with us for any individual restrictions there may be.

Neither drugs nor weapons of any sort will be permitted aboard any charter yacht. Possession of either will result in the charter being terminated immediately, without refund or recourse. This policy is rigidly enforced.
